Sequel to Showtape Central in the Works


A new sequel to Showtape Central is being worked on. It has a new engine written from the ground up, which should help updates come out more quickly if the project does release.

The best part about rewriting an engine is that you get to make it however you want. When we were developing SC, it was a pain in the butt trying to get things to work, because the engine was just prone to collapsing at any moment. Features were bugged, maps were laggy, it was horrific.

This new fresh engine should hopefully avoid all those issues, meaning a better workflow for us, and a better experience for you!
