Small Progress Update/Fix Log


-Changed challenger spawn conditions so that Billy O'Hare will properly appear on a miniboss roll at lower levels

-Gloom Song should now make enemies' attacks half as strong while the debuff is active

-Adjusted positioning of Bonnie in battles (will also tweak NPC chat position if he is also off there)

-Added new NPC for Disc data retrieval

-Fixed objects appearing in NPC chats when they aren't supposed to appear (so hopefully no more sold out signs blocking out important text)

To still be addressed before release:

-Fix Gloom Song note's animation

-Add boss(es)

-Add Discs

-Finish Endo Army skill

-Add ???

-Notice something out of place

Possible things to address:

-New icons for power and defense/armor debuffs

-Alter spawn conditions of challengers in more difficult areas

Next up

Figured it out.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Yeah, we're doing this.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

I might be having too much fun with this process...
