I just want to say that if you think Deluxe is going to be a faithful remake of the original game, this is not the case. Deluxe is very different from the original Yap and Yell in terms of characters, story, and environments.
It's best to forget about most of the main story details from the original Yap and Yell going into Deluxe, because Deluxe is pretty much going to be its own thing. There may even be faces that you don't recognize...

1This is probably gonna be really strange, and I'm not even 100% sure how it would work. But I would love to see a Bubble Bobble X PAC-MAN crossover! Mainly because these are my two favorite franchises ^^
