I just want to say that if you think Deluxe is going to be a faithful remake of the original game, this is not the case. Deluxe is very different from the original Yap and Yell in terms of characters, story, and environments.
It's best to forget about most of the main story details from the original Yap and Yell going into Deluxe, because Deluxe is pretty much going to be its own thing. There may even be faces that you don't recognize...

1The game is working great on Steam Deck! I just tried the latest build on it and it stays at a stable 90 for the most part! Though there is one thing causing it to lag down to 70, so im going to look into that, though I think I know what it might be.
