Five Dank Nights at Memes 3

So... Am I done?

Lets talk.

Today I have basically finished everything with Five Dank Nights at Memes 3 other than implementing Turbowarp extensions. This effectively means the game has its scratch release all done, and I only need to add code that isn't possible on vanilla scratch (which is mostly just stuff for the options menu) and then package the game. Seeing as this should be pretty easy to do, there isn't any reason to have all versions of the game release on the same day.

Something I will definitely do is make both an in-browser version and a downloadable executable version. If you have played around with Turbowarp Packager before, then you would probably know that Turbowarp recommends Zip and HTML applications over making applications meant to be for different platforms. Even though I will still make a downloadable executable file for windows (and possibly make some other files for Mac and Linux operating systems), using the browser version is still recommended instead of the executable.

Saving is transferable using a code, so there shouldn't be any issue getting your progress back in case you want to switch from browser to executable.

The game will also contain one "DLC" night which will lead to two unlockable characters for the custom night. As time goes on more will be added, filling out the locked spaces in the custom night menu.

I also finished setting up Bandcamp and Soundcloud accounts. The soundtrack will go public on those and will also be uploaded to the gamejolt page as soon as the game is released.

Now some people are probably wondering what's next after the release of the game. While I won't explain or hint at them here, I will say that there is a 100% completion cutscene teasing three upcoming projects. I am more than excited to reveal them to you all, so stay tuned.

As for now, I will try to finish the adding the extensions and then release game this week. I will finally rebrand the account after that, so be on the lookout.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Hey you, rookie! Yes, I am talking to you!! Come over here? Relax! Just stick to me and everything will be fine. By the way, my name is James Varhuher, but you can call me Big J. I will bring you up to speed.
