If you think this game is simple then you must have quit at level 1. The first 4 levels are designed to give the player opportunity to practice his skill with the laser beam. I challenge you to complete the game at level 10 and then call it simple. If you do manage to complete level 10 then post your high score to the comments so you can have bragging rights!
