So after some feedback from players and my hundred-millionth playthrough of this game, I have:

fixed a couple of previously unnoticed graphics-related glitches, and
slightly (just slightly) modified some dialogue to make certain character and story elements more true to how I wanted them presented.

The new and improved version of the game is now available for download. Thanks to everyone who has played, rated, and commented so far - the responses have been great (and a whole lot better than I originally anticipated)!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
