Dawko took part in Jacksepticeye's Thankmas event today, hosting a livestream on his channel to raise money for New Story, a charity helping to fight homelessness.

We didn't have anything big prepared to help promote the stream like a demo build, but I did manage to gather some cool images together which I'd like to hope helped a bit.

I gave them to Dawko and told him he could share them at any point he wanted, in any order. They were eventually shared on his stream as goals for $46,000, $47,000, and $48,000. And here they are!

GOAL 1 ($46,000) - ROBOT BLAKE (POPGOES AND THE MACHINIST)

Here's a preview of a new grunt enemy from POPGOES and The Machinist, the upcoming paid expansion for POPGOES Arcade. We've been working on PATM for a while now and I'm happy to say we're now wrapping things up.

This is Robot Blake; he was also featured on the poster for The Machinist as the enemy that Popgoes is squaring up on. The second image is showing him scratching the player, and though the perspective and colouring makes it look a little confusing, it's perfectly fine when animated in-game.

Hope you like how he looks and that you're excited to play POPGOES and The Machinist when it releases (not sure when this will be yet).

GOAL 2 ($47,000) - BLAKE THE BADGER RENDERS

Here's a brand new collection of renders, of Blake the Badger in a variety of poses. I love how Blake looks here! He has gone through such a huge upgrade and I've seen that he's become a favourite for some fans.

You'll see that he has a WeaselWare phone, a lanyard, a toolbelt, a USB charger, and more.

Something new: In POPGOES Evergreen Blake actually starts in the Server Room and makes his way towards the player. The Server Room has a charging pad on the floor for Blake to charge himself with, which you can see under him in the "Sleep Mode" image. We'll reveal more about Blake in the future...

A lot has changed since the original game... clearly...

I'm not going to say much about this because I think you should just look at it yourself and admire all of the awesome details that the team put into it. Very proud of them.

Progress on Evergreen's environments has been frozen since September but this should pick up again in the new year, and in a big way hopefully.

SOMETHING EXTRA - BENJAMIN THE CAT

In one of my earlier devlogs, I mentioned that Baby, my pet cat, was still with us, only thanks to a donation that Dawko and DAGames had given my family in 2016 for his surgery.

Unfortunately, Baby passed away out of nowhere in early September.

Living without Baby has been difficult and strange. Having dinner without anything pestering us for scraps, having a cat flap with no use, and not being annoyed constantly by repeating meows, has been hard. Way harder than I expected.

Long story short, after weeks of my girlfriend Sian (pronounced "sharn", not "cyan") going on and on about getting a new cat to fill the "cat shaped hole in her heart", my parents decided to surprise her by bringing home Benjamin:

Benjamin is not Baby, and he's not a Christmas present either. That's not the point. It just felt obvious that our family had a cat "slot" that needed to be filled, if that makes sense.

Benjamin is the beginning of a new chapter and I'm excited to show more of him, probably on my BabyAtTheTable Twitter account. He's still settling in, but we can tell that he has an interesting personality!
