This was considered a neutral/balanced Gift (hence the grey text) because in order to take advantage of its benefit, you must put yourself in a risky position by tanking a crit from the enemy.
This Gift was recently scrapped and replaced because its effect felt awkward, was boring, and in practice barely anyone took advantage of it - it was almost always still better to Block or Jump over an enemy's crit.
Its replacement was programmed last month, and it is so much more interesting. Can't wait for you guys to see all of the Battle Gifts when Fighting Chance releases, hopefully soon!
