TL;DR: We've hit a snag with this game's art, We're slowing down on trying to push out more posts, A rough look at the gameplay loop, and more music is in the pipeline! (Also this is a long post so be warned... We like our Wall of Text info-dump style!)

Updated the visuals of some shaders that'll be used for the UI of the game! It'll add some much needed style we think!

The shader allows for Color Bleeding//"Leaking" (The most prime example/showcase is the Rainbow text character's text & the credits!)

Main menu is coming along nicely! Just need to finish off the Continue screen, and make the Exit & Settings menu! (And why yes, we're listening to Everhood 2's ost in the BG. Why? Because we have yet to compose the new main menu theme yet... bleh..)

Late night post (at least for us) How's this for an improvement in shading? Normal maps on 2D sprites our beloved... (Update: Added another image with the portrait normals smoothed out, thus making smoother lighting.)

And with that... The main menu is essentially done! Yes we know, The amount of settings is underwhelming for what is needed, we're just showcasing things. (Also yes Rhythm Doctor music in the BG because we're working on the main menu theme as we speak!)

We know we've posted this a few hours ago... But now it has... AUDIO! SOUNDS! NOISES! And all that fun stuff! Anyways, with that out of the way, time to finish that William battle that we've been procrastinating on finishing... Just... After we sleep...
