4 minute test play of ALPHA 02052023

Marks almost 2 months of development. Proud moment of "I've made a thing!"

Started working on a custom AI.

So far the pods know how to choose between different possible paths and patrol them.

Can't use NavMesh... 6DOF AI from scratch = Nightmare!

Testing the new custom texture map on the test level.

37 DVDs of backing up graphics, sounds and project versions. For a game that is only 76MB in size (so far).

Who else uses optical to back things up, I wonder?

Testing some audio for the first time.

The annoying shot sound is currently for the only weapon avilable... lol

Started working on the pick-up item mechanics.

The one from the screenshot is a simple energy re-filler.
