Started working on the Resource Launch Pad, the first step towards automation in the game!

Hey everyone!

After about 1.5 years of development, I’m excited to release the first public demo today!

The game is still a work in progress, with many new features planned, and I’d love to hear your feedback.

Improved (or fixed?) the ray caster so it doesn't go through walls anymore. Also added these ray lines for debugging purposes, which helped me find out why my ray caster was not going all the way to the end.

The new sky layer has been added!

In this layer, you'll be able to set up the automation stuff, keeping your city nice and tidy. To get there, simply grab a balloon and enjoy the ride!

It is FINALLY DONE! Finally finished working on my tile map chunking. Took me some good 2 weeks, but I can now smoothly run HUGE maps!

The transporter belts (or rather pipes) are done! Although it feels a bit clunky, not as smooth as I'd like. Gotta give it some more love later.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
