Firesides are temporary pop-up style chat rooms. The idea is that we're hanging out together around a fire and having a nice chat until the fire goes out and we all return home.

🔥 So what's new?

As long as the community you've joined allows their members to host firesides, you can create your own pop-up fireside in the community. Similar to posts, if your fireside catches the attention of a moderator of the community, they'll feature it to show on the frontpage of the community.

As soon as you create and publish your fireside in a community, all members will receive an invite.

Invite your friends by sharing the fireside link or simply wait-n-see who all joins from the community.

Full collaborators and owners of communities can enable/disable the firesides within their community.

Create a fireside directly from your profile or from the frontpage of a community you'd like to start one in.

• Give your fireside a name

• Choose the community you'd like to start the fireside in

• Publish your fireside when you're ready!  

Ta-da! You did it!

We'll notify all members of the community to let them know they can join your fireside.

Hint: Only communities that allow firesides will give you the option to create a fireside. Full collaborators and community owners can enable firesides for their communities.
