After the basic concepts for the game cover, it was time to begin to develop the game.
Generally, most of game developers use a simple kind of GDD (Game Design Document) this isn’t mandatory, but I’m one of these people :)
For this task, a simple text document is enough. I prefer the MS Word, this case.
Finally, the funnest time has come: DRAW PIXEL ART!

When I begun the GDD, I was posting some game assets on the OPEN GAME ART’s website ( http://opengameart.org ) at same time, when, by coincidence, I found this incredible spritesheet that reminds my concept art: http://opengameart.org/content/i-are-spaceship-16x16-space-sprites

Since I discovered the illustrator Bart shared his art like public domain, I decided continue his work. Starting fro his original sprites, I created my own, and I loved the results.

Now, the game begins to take form. The next step: create the environment.
