I'm sure by now, you've all heard about how the CEO of Unity (who was the former CEO of EA games btw, mind you) has implemented a fee-per-installation where every installs will charge it's devs $0.20. It is currently unclear whether this decision will also affect free games.
The Archives are being made in Unity, but I am in NO SUPPORT of this greedy bullshittery by the CEO's decisions. Nor are the entire team even gonna stake our chances. If push comes to shove, and no changes are seen on the side of Unity's higher ups.....
Then, The Fazbear Entertainment Archives will have an overhaul, and continue our progress of developing the game using Unreal Engine, whether or not this change affects us or not. It will still be unclear whether we'll use 4 or 5, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Thank you all, the last thing I want to happen is to abandon this project when we've come so far, and we've been having a great time making this game. But I DO NOT. WANT TO USE UNITY, IF THIS IS HOW THEIR DECISION-MAKING WORKS.
