Take a seat, make yourself comfortable. It might take a bit of me to explain the full bit.
This game stemmed of.... from a dream of mine. No, not as in "Oh I wanna create this fangame, this is my dream!" moment, no no. As in "I slept one night, and began to dream about the concept out of nowhere" type of shit.
I was on a trip back in September of 2022, where I had to attend one of my grandmother's birthday party to get to talk to my american uncle (because I am a Filipino) about getting hired professionally, for a Triple-A game industry as their 2D concept artist. FNaF was the least expected thing I had in mind the whole time, and so when I went to sleep, I was obviously very shocked that I even HAD a dream like this.
In the dream itself, I was on an underground bunker? Or facility, it was never made clear by my head. Which I suspect, is caused by the fact that I had been watching a lot of liminal space documentaries due to having to study them for Night Shift's concept arts. Yes, I was involved in Xylerguy's project at one point as the main 2D concept artist.
But the ones I watched was specifically ones documented by a youtuber channel run by two guys named, "The Proper People". (Actually recommend their stuff, super cool)
And in that dream...... was Bonnie. But he didn't look like any Bonnie. Instead, he looked like how I drew him above. I remember his features, clear as day.
He was.... stalking me in the dream. Following me around as I did some stuff like turning on breakers to get more lighting in the area, all playing out like it was an analog horror. At one point, I saw him walking on black and white cameras. He had HW Classic Chica's walk cycle.
The closest he got to me was, again, the drawing above I did. He peeked through the shadows as I merely side-stepped away from him, which was really odd. He didn't attack me or anything, he was simply "staring" me down.
I unfortunately woke up too early to know what happened at the end of the dream. But I knew from that day on, the concept of a "stalking" animatronic was cool as hell. And I recently submitted myself to it, now creating an analog horror FNaF fangame with 21 other people who volunteered for such a task.
