Status Update - Progress on NeverEvers and yet to be reveal "AREA 2"

In this new devlog, I'm going to talk a bit more about current progress!

Here's the status of the Prologue:

  • NeverEvers = 80%

  • "AREA 2" (T.B.A) = 5%

  • Prologue as a whole = 45%

In fact, check the new screenshots! They are also now on the GameJolt page.

First one is the new menu for the Prologue.

Second is part of the starting cutscene.

Third one is one of the maps in NeverEvers!

The explanation that development takes time is that we're doing everything at the same time.

Having started this project in mid-January, we're making sure to code all the basics for the game while taking the other chapters into account!

This will help speed up development.

As NeverEvers is the first zone of the Prologue, I'm doing my utmost in terms of writing and other things to ensure that it really piques the player's curiosity right from the start.

Both visually and story-wise.

There are almost no bugs left now, and we've still got two rooms to code for NeverEvers! Yipee!

The second Prologue area is more complex to create. So here's the status in detail:

"AREA 2"

  • Visuals = 15%

  • Music = 80%

  • Story = 60%

  • Programming = 5%

I'll do a reveal of this "AREA 2" with its name and much more information later, so don't worry!

Also, devlogs will be more regular from now on..!!!

Status Update - Lots going on!

I'll be honest, I couldn't think of a title for this devlog because we've done so much!

Mini teaser!.. (as I don't like not giving news) I haven't forgot to reveal Ravyn's small design update, so don't worry y'all :D New tracks will be uploaded soon aswell, I'll do a devlog when time comes. .. .

Updated the GameJolt images! Updated visuals! Woohoo!!

Updated tracks AND new ones! Both on GameJolt and Soundcloud <3 Go take a listen! The tracks "Beckoning Black" and "End of a Day" got a full remake!

Hey! Quick update, but Ravyn, received a new design. We are preparing the reveal of it, expect seeing it soon! (The Prologue-only outfit won't have any changes due to plot reasons, & the Heart Mask will be fully removed due to be from an old story plan.)

New & Updated Visuals!! And small clarification (announcement??), too!
