but heres some random updates since were using tml's engine for the demo. this is mostly just a bunch of random thoughts and screenshots so be warned. Almost none of this is really meaningful
heres some concepts for the battle thing which i completely ripped off from tsr-outerswap.


it was kinda inspired by old flash games and i thought the aesthetic of it all was really cool so thats what i chose to do.

for more on mockups heres a mockup for the naming sequence, i havent got around to actually doing it yet in the engine but it exists

in the engine were kinda close everything just needs to be repositioned but most of the sprites are there

On the overworld side of stuff i got a pretty easy day/night cycle working, the in lore reasoning for there being a day/night cycle is above the core there is an artificial star that lights the underground and gives it its own days, nights, and weather. whenever it weakens it turns to night to conserve energy.

like wise rain is present too
