Thank You!!!

So it's been a bit, hasn't it?

Battle Against An Upcoming Royal Guard has been out for nearly a month now!

When I first started this project, I wanted to make an Undertale fangame for a while and looking at all the incredible fangames available, it really inspired me to make this game. Undertale is and will probably always be one of my top games, it's incredible, fascinating, fun, unique, has terrific humor, unforgettable characters, and overall a really really good game.

This project took nearly 3 months to make, and it was a blast! This was one of the most fun projects I ever had! From it, I explored tons of new stuff, learned new skills, and overall had a really fun time. It even improved my game dev skills, from coding to animation. It felt so satisfying to finally finish this personal project and I'm glad I made it!

The support on this overwhelmed me. I didn't expect to get as many downloads as it has right now! Thanks for all the positive comments, thanks for all the reports so I could improve this game, and thanks to all the awesome YouTubers for playing my game!

Speaking of improvements... I've released a new patch!

Version 1.1

  • Fixed a bug where getting low on health caused the attack to keep going in the menu.

  • Hopefully fixed a bug where skipping dialogue too fast broke the game(If you happen to still run into this issue please report it!)

  • Slight UI and Design adjustments.

  • Added a quit feature. Now you can leave mid-battle! (Just press ESC like in the original Undertale!)

The support for this game was much more than I expected thanks to you all! You guys are all the best! You inspired me and motivated me to keep on making games!

Just wanted to thank you all for all the incredible support and kind words, see you guys in my next project!

(Now that I've done Undertale, I think it's time for Deltarune! or FNAF idk...)

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Update 2.627

New challenges & new effects!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?
