Well, here we are at pretty much the end of SAGE 2016. I’d like to give out a massive thank you for the positive reception Sonic: Project Survival has received and for all the gameplay videos on YouTube. It’s been nice seeing people’s live reactions to certain parts of the game lol. The development process has been very stressful especially leading up to SAGE week but we’re glad to know it was well worth it in the end.
If you didn’t know already, a “post-SAGE patch” of the demo is now live which fixes a glitch in Act 2 causing players to phase through a wall and a few graphical and placement issues. Everyone forgets sometimes lol.
So in terms of the future, the credits weren’t kiddin’; the game’s proper name is Sonic Diamond Island. While unfortunately I’ve retired from Sonic fangame development so I won’t be part of Diamond Island’s development, you guys will be in for some good things in the future. I’m sure of it. ;)
