that's right this game is a year old now (it was 4 days ago already actually) so here's a Slight update as i said slight so while some things are changed there's nothing huge here like you aren't getting any dlc levels and my long lost grandma isn't here either but it's an update so PATCH NOTES:

- you can now replay the luigi fight if you beat him already (spoilers sorry)

- the 3d section now has UPGRADED GRAPHICS!!! (it's just basic ass lighting)

- some gaping holes in the 3d section were fixed (not the shitty collision in general though sorry)

- you can now use wasd to move in the 3d section (arrow keys still work if you're a masochist)

- the 3d section now way more smoothly transitions into the next level (but in a funny way)

- that one annoying popup in the 3d section got removed

- luigi is now a BIT harder just a BIT there are no new attack but he's harder

- mario's movement speed has been slightly increased to account for a lack of sprint in this game (unlike the sequel)

- the non chase movement speed in the 3d section has also been slightly increased

- liver failure 2
