"The Basement" is a subfloor within the hotel
to access it you need to reach the hallway before jeff's shop
if you turn the opposite way to jeff's shop you will find a door leading to a basement with only one room, but a vent right at the end of it, the vent needing a skeleton key to be opened
once you open the vent, you'll be sent to the basement subfloor
in this subfloor, instead of opening doors, you'll open vents, having to walk a certain amount like in the outdoors
this subfloor contains 4 new entities (but also has timothy)
and there's 4 room types you can find

- Room Types -
The Basement Rooms - they're regular basement rooms like in the hotel, you have to simply find a vent to go to the next room, however sometimes you may find a gate that'll need a lever to be opened so you can access the vent
The Vent Rooms - these rooms are a maze of vents that you have to crawl through until you find the exit, similarly to the mine's underwater cave mazes
The Flooded Rooms - whenever you leave a vent there's a chance you'll find a big basement room that's flooded with a yellow-ish rusty water from broken pipes leaking into the floor, this room type contains an entity called "Oxide", which will chase you if you're in the water, so you have to move on top of boxes and barrels floating in the water (inspired by spooky's jumpscare mansion!)

- Entities -
Timothy - simple, open a drawer and get attacked, however they're way more common down here, so think twice before opening drawers!
Timmy - sometimes you'll find two plants, normally they're harmless, but whenever you see a tripwire between them, make sure yo use your scissors to cut it, or else you'll be attacked by Timmy, which is a big spider hiding inside of a plant, he will charge towards whoever stepped on the wire and instakill them
Oxide - this entity was inspired by specimen 13 of spooky's jumpscare mansion. You'll be inside of a flooded room and will have to traverse using floating objects, whenever you step in the water a splash will quickly approach towards you, if it touches you it'll deal 40 damage per second
Rammy - you will sometimes find a barrel with an eye poking out of it, that means you found Rammy, you'll hear a very silent clicking sound (which is his sound cue so you know he is nearby), Rammy will be asleep when found, but if any noise is made, such as walking, using an item or opening a vent will result in Rammy waking up, Rammy will look at a player and charge towards the player, he only charges in a straight line, so it's not that hard to dodge him unless you're in a tight space, if Rammy manages to ram into you, you will lose 50 health
Pinkeye - he's a node entity similiar to rush, however he doesn't flicker the lights, you will instead hear a hum sound, very slowly approaching and getting louder, you should only hide once he's very close, because of how slow he is, if you get in too early you might die inside of your hiding spot, if Pinkeye manages to get to you while you're not hiding you will receive 150 damage, basically an instakill in some cases
Queen Timotheos - close to the end, you will find a basement room with another statue of guiding light, only this time covered in webs, once you leave the room, you will get chased in the vents by Queen Timotheos, and when you leave the vents you'll leave in the old basement room from before Hotel+, you'll run upstairs only to find a long cave, with a bridge in the middle that you have to cross while the queen chases you, you'll have to jump over broken bridges, and pull levers to open gates until you reach the end, when the bridge breaks, resulting in Queen Timotheos to fall and get killed by stalactites (fun fact, her design is based off of old timothy!, having the gray body and red eyes)

- Mechanics -
Lever - self explanatory, find a lever to open a gate to access the next vent
Hiding Spot Barrel - you can use this to hide from Pinkeye, but if you stay in it for too long you're just gonna drown in ""smoothie""

Scissors - this item will be at the start of the subfloor, and it's used to cut Timmy's tripwire and cut webs blocking some hallways (except for excential hallways, such as the lever or the vent), to usually

Allergic To Dust - escape The Basement.
If It Works, It Works - cut Timmy's tripwire with Shears.
Frenemies - make Rammy break a gate by ramming into it.
6 Feet Under - enter The Basement.

You're too slow! - crucify Pinkeye.
Tetanus Shot - crucify Oxide.
Ram Into This! - crucify Rammy.

honestly this was really fun to make
also i suck at roblox studio so those ""renders"" i made are just for you to understand what i'm trying to express, not to try to replicate as if it was ACTUALLY ingame
this is also kinda based on the Grumble lineage, having Queen Timotheos creating Timothies, that grow into Timmies
and one last thing, there's no crucifying the queen achievement because crucifixes don't work in subfloors, and i didn't make a modifier to make her spawn in the hotel (but i think that's obvious lol)
