I came up with the idea for my game when I was browsing through YouTube. I stumbled upon a game where a duck was jumping between platforms, collecting keys and running to doors to progress to the next level.
I dreamt of creating something similar but with a different character, a cute and bouncy slime. So, I sat down at my computer and got to work. I registered and downloaded Unity, but it didn't work out.
I tried several other game engines, but encountered one failure after another. It took me five engines before I finally learned enough and came back to Unity.
Now, the game is starting to take shape, and I have to admit, it brings me a lot of joy.
I'm creating the game completely on my own, and although I'm not a master of graphics, I'm still trying my best to ensure that the game doesn't look unappealing.
However, due to the nature of solo work, I can't catch all the bugs by myself. That's why I'm hoping for helpful feedback once I release the first playable version.
It will help me refine the game and make it even better. I plan to release the first demo at the end of May.
