The demo now has a HTML build so you guys can try it out without having to download the PC version!!

The HTML version is a bit scuffed compare to the other version, some plugins, shaders etc, doesn't work.

For all changes to the HTML version, read article

Changes to the HTML version

  • Kikkerstein's attack is changed, you now just hold down the LMB to shoot towards the crosshair.
(The old method didn't work with html)

  • You must now release the LMB before clicking the RMB button when doing your special move.
(I have no idea why you can't hold down both mouse buttons at once with html)

  • Shader I used to make the portraits look "smoother & more antialiasing-ish" doesn't work for some reason.

  • Fade in & out effect on the portraits is removed, it looked awful . .

The HTML version of the game will not be updated as often as the PC version. Major updates will only get HTML versions.

Tiffany will give the player hints.

I want each character to have their own unique dialogue option.

What would be cool for other characters to have instead of giving the player a Hint?

If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them in the comments

First interaction with Jejune

I was bored and started working on a Hollow Knight engine, a scuffed one.

I used some Castlevania assets because I don't like working with just "hit boxes"

I guess this is just a varient of my other metroidvania movement engine thingy.

Closer look at interactions (now with more Tai)

Characters will have different dialogue when you have 50% or more stress when using "Talk".

Interactions are subject to change/work in progress.

When failing a D20 you'll lose 1 friend point with the character.

And if you roll a perfect 20 you will get 2 points instead of 1.

I've also updated the buttons to match the NPC Interaction buttons.
