The game is made using Godot 3.x plus some custom patches.
Vehicles are rigid bodies kept together with joints.
All rigid bodies that are connected with fixed joints are then merged into a single rigid body.
I implemented part of a physics simulation to determine how forces applied to a rigid body would distribute on the original merged parts, which allows me to separate parts in a plausible manner when the vehicle hits something.

The demo of Contraption Simulator is now available.

The game is a sandbox where you can build weird vehicles out of simple parts, assign inputs and try to control them.
Vehicles are destructible.
