Okay, before those pitchforks come after me, I want to say that this time, the reason why another delay is happening was totally on me. Long story short, I announced the new release date (being October 19th) thinking nothing would get in the way, simply put, shit went downhill fast. My computer got corrupted for an entire week and just today got fixed, our coders need more time, and the new release date was too close for us to finish polishing the updated gameplay section. So to make sure this won't happen again, Prologue will no longer have a release date until we are 100% complete with beta testing. I do not intend on making another delay post like this, but I do want to reinsure that Prologue is coming out, we just want it to be good.
What Was The Original Gameplay Section?
Simply put, it was all scripted, after taking the feedback from friends and people on the team, we are changing it to an actual playable night, we also just got done coding a new mechanic that's never been teased or revealed. That's all I can really say for now, since I don't want to spoil anything.
Will there be any compensation for the second delay?
Alright, here's my compensation, I'll still be releasing the entire rest of the soundtrack for Prologue on October 19th. Soon after, maybe a week or so, I'll drop some more bigger things.
I know it sucks, trust me, I hate making these posts. But just know we are cooking a fine meal in the end. Thanks for the support, I'll update you all when more things happen.
