The first half of Area 2 has been finished.

Article below is related to spoilers for people who haven’t played the game and seen the secrets.

Do not read if you care about spoilers.


Each chapter of the game will have its own secret boss.

The secret bosses **will build off of each other**, meaning if you didn’t beat the first one, the game won’t allow you to fight the second one.

If you haven’t seen the first one already in chapter 1, find and play 3 instruments. Each instrument is in one of the main areas, the house, the beach and the museum.

The secret bosses will not all be Undertale related nor will all of them be Undertale battles.

The battle sprites posted are not related to the secret boss for Area 2.

On another topic, the boss ‘MadCat’ is not a secret boss, I want to start implementing more complex battles that will add more to the experience than “walk around, random encounter, puzzle, win”

Iterations of just one room in the city, so far.

Trying to find the balance between too much detail and too little detail.

I’ll take a Mother-series inspired background, on a raft, pixelated four-by-four epic graphic indie-style, extra wholesome quirky noise image with a shimmy and a squeeze, heavy scratch shaders, make it cry, choom it, and let it reddit.

I am still not satisfied with the tiles in the city.

While I rework the tiles again, I am going back and adding new content to previous areas. (video is from Help's nightmare)

DELTATRAVELER - v3.1.0 Preview Build 6

I have hit the same roadblock I hit last time I attempted to work on the city. No matter how many times I redo them, I am still not satisfied with my tiles.

The game is still being actively worked on, I just need more time before I make area 2s city.
