i thought id explain a little on what this project is gonna be in more detail, you can consider this devlog 2 (kinda. . . not really)

firstly, this game is gonna be split up into 5 chapters and a prologue. the prologue for the fight before the reset, and a chapters for each area of the game:

Prologue: Ruined Castle

Chapter 1: The Temple

Chapter 2: The Swamp

Chapter 3: Caverns (for now)

Chapter 4: Frozen Wasteland

Chapter 5: Ruined Castle (again)

right now my main focus is on the prologue and getting that released as a demo.

secondly, i plan on including multiple endings as well, the regular genocide, and maybe a pacifist. the pacifistending if even included is gonna be a hidden ending.

finally, the song release

this is mainly why i made this devlog, but I've finished a WIP of one of the chapter 3 themes.
