The hard hitting question. What's coming with the Wario's 2.0 update??

Hey ya'll this will be jam packed but fairly simple "Devlog" if you could even call it that about ALL of the changes currently logged (and expected) to release in the 2.0 update. I'LL ONLY BE LOGGING THE BIG HEAVY HITTER UPDATES, THE FULL LIST OF PATCH NOTES WILL RELEASE WITH THE UPDATE.


Main gameplay:

  • Wario and Waluigi have been completely rebalanced and are no longer able to skip rooms. Wario will now ALWAYS go back to the entrance and Wario and Waluigi can be seen in the entrance camera together!

  • Peach's sound cue is actually now a lot more audible!

  • The "Overtuned" sound effect has been made quieter (thank god)

  • Mario can kill you decently faster now.

  • Night's 1 and 2 have been rebalanced as many people stated night 1 was easy and night 2 was almost impossible

  • Slowed down Luigi a bit in the later nights

  • "Doorlock" now takes a while longer to activate.

  • A character can no longer camera jump (Jumping to the camera without triggering "Deconnection")

  • You can use S to bring up and down the cameras

  • Phonecalls no longer trigger during custom night

  • Fixed not being able to skip cutscenes

  • Added a new all max mode cutscene and minigame

  • Re-added in previously scrapped character "Toad" With a brand new mechanic to spice things up

  • Re-added in the previously scrapped night 6 miniboss with "Doppel Wario"

  • Re-added in the previously scrapped mini-boss track composed by me and @Steekgames

  • Wario get's more agitated and faster the longer you look at him on cameras

  • Wario's cameras will no longer overlap with other cameras

  • Super mushroom takes less time to begin the draining power sequence.


    Extras & Custom night:

    • Reoriented the custom night menu

    • Added Toad to the custom night menu

    • Made it so the buttons on custom night disappear during the min, max, and randomize sequences to prevent softlocks

    • Custom night now is tied to Vsync so it will no longer lag behind

    • Deltatiming has been added to the extras

    • After beating all max mode, you receive the "Thank you" image in extras

    • Toad has been added to the Extras menu

    • The Scrapped content portion has been entirely overhauled

    • Added in the post all max mode cutscene to the replay cutscene in the extras


EASTER EGGS:

  • The Game now has about 10 new easter eggs in it

  • Fixed the already exisiting Menu easter egg for pressing "Quit" too many times


That's it for now. Fun fact this update was actually in the works moments before the 1.0 update released, please do not play 1.0 but instead play 2.0 when it releases. Seeing the size of this update, no wonder why it took almost 2x the amount of time it took for 1.0 to release.
