when he was younger he was emotionally and physically abused by his parents this parenting style carried over to his kids but he learned to be less strict and better at supporting his kids, when izzy came out as gay he did not take it well after an argument he left for a walk and cooled down and overtime be became more excepting and his and Izzy’s bond has never been better, he gets along with star and clea, he learned Korean for his wife

she’s a secretary and assistant and is the bread winner of the family she has flexible hours and always makes sure to spend time with her kids especially Izzy and Kyle who are her favourite, she’s the rock for jasuzin and always provides support for him when he struggles, when she found out Kiumo has injured she took it very badly and babied him for week, she loves star and treats him like one of her kids and always has gossip sessions with him and clea even goes out of her way to tell embrassimg stories about Izzy which she hates, she’s still learning Japanese for her husband

jaeuzin and Chizmo met in high school Chizmo was doing a year in Japan for a scholarship and they fell in love she offered jaeuzin a place to sleep when it went bad with his parents and they got married when they were both 19 and moved to the United States a year later to have their first child Kiumo

KIUMO KINEMO:

he’s a retired war vet and left when Kyle was 12 he’s cold and not very socialised when he lost his eye his confidence and mental health when down a lot he’s still reconnecting with Izzy, getting the know Kyle and the twins more since the twins don’t even know who he is until he came back, he’s been trying to get a job to support the family but no like so far

IZZY KINEMO:

she’s the first member ever to move out and was the most unique out of her siblings she dressed in a more tomboy way, she wanted to be a musician and she dyed her hair, she’s the only sibling to know Kiumo

she volunteers at the twins preschool to spend time with them and is helping Kyle and Kiumo get a job, she helps when she can especially her dad with the twins, when she introduced her family to clea they immediately liked her due to how polite she was and when they met star when she was a teen they made him a family friend quickly

KYLE KINEMO:

he’s lazy, a player and a mamas boy, he loves the idea of fashion and people,think he’s gay but he’s not, he’s the closest with Izzy and she was the first person she told that she was gay and he wants to become a barista, he’s had at least 10 girlfriends and got a smack on the head in the 8th one, he don’t know what he wants in life but he does care about his family, Kiumo was always his favourite sibling but after he left things changed and they’re trying to rekindled their relationship and he’s helping Kiumo become more social and get a girlfriend

RINA AND RAY KINEMO:

age: 8

nationality: Asian American

the youngest of the family these two are never seen apart and always cause trouble, they have a tendency to wonder off so they’re kept on child leashes

they love they’re dad and he taught them Japanese because of how much time they spent together but they can’t speak Korean so when the family argues or have adult conversations it’s done in Korean so they don’t ruin the twins innocences or make them worry, they are still getting to know Kiumo since they never met him until he came back and Rina is scared of him while Ray aspires to be him and thinks he’s cool

kyle normally teases them for they’re age and because why not, Ray with occasionally tease Rina about how he’s 2 minutes older 5en he and she hates it

Izzy is their favourite sibling because she cares a lot about them, she checks on them when she’s at their preschool she picks them up sometimes and takes them out with clea for the day. (They call her auntie cle)

they like clea because she’s sweet and makes Izzy happy

and they rough house with star when he visits to which they bite him and tackle him
