Greetings everyone and welcome to a new Status Devlog.
Hope you had a nice day so far and if not you will have now.
Grab your popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy this Status Devlog full of big news for this game.
We will get a VIP Area!
In the last Status Devlog I started a poll what you want to see on that empty space inside of the Pentum Stage Control Tent. And the result was… just wow. Every single one who voted wants to see a VIP Lounge in there. To be honest, I had something like this a long time in my head too but I couldn’t decide between these four things so what is better than asking the community what they like.
And that’s it, I will get my hands on a fancy VIP Lounge now that will also come with the Specta Update. Oh and before I forget. This VIP Area will be called “Beach Club VIP Lounge”.
Finishing touches of the Specta Stage
The Specta Stage is in its last progress. I will post a to-do list today on Twitter what I’ve finished and still have to do. Visit my Twitter Account here.
With the release of the Specta Stage I will upload the official trailer, and an introduction video to show you this stage and the abilities of it.
The future of Stage Sim after the Specta Update
I have some amazing things planned this year for Stage Simulator.
In fact I don’t want to spoil you that far just yet but right after the Specta Update’s release I will work on a new feature for the game.
The Camera Manager.
In this Manager you will be able to see the camera views displayed on the displays in the Stage Control Tents in fullscreen. Additionally the Helicopter Camera of the Pentum Stage will only be accessible via the Camera Manager and not any other key.
I will also overhaul the Tutorial of the game completely.
Right now I really don’t like it and it is an experience of bugs. That will be changed and everything will be way more clearer.
And we will get the Stage Machinery Index in the Extras Window.
With that feature you can learn even more how stage machinery works.
A crowd
“Can you add a crowd to this game?”
This is maybe the most common asked question on Stage Simulator.
I always said something like “No sorry, it would cause too much lags.”.
Well, that is right. Just imagine hundrets and hundrets of people cheering with different animations.
But I get that question so often that I really have to think about that.
Of course you could toggle the crowd off once it’s implemented but what would a crowd bring to you when the game is lagging?
I hope you can understand how hard it is for me to decide what I will do.
Also I don’t have a good looking crowd that would fit to the game.
Maybe I will create a poll later but that topic really needs its time.
Alright to everyone who is still reading. I like you.
Also I hope you liked this Status Devlog.
Have a great day!
