I want to take a second to explain what the origins of freddy intended to be.
I know its weird to write this when it’s been months since the game was released, but I just want to talk because the plays and views that the game got just striked me; when I made this game, I didnt really intend this game to be a full fledged FNaF fan game, I intended this game to test the community to see how much of them still play FNaF fan games, and it turns out it worked, and to be honest, its pretty disappointing in my opinion, this game got 5 perfect ratings, I dont really understand why, because it is only literally 2 minutes of gameplay, playing as a crying child, with rushed textures and assets, and it got 5 perfect ratings? I was expecting to have 2 Billion terrible ratings, plus I wanted that to happen, in-fact, I encourage you to put a terrible rating, just to see how other players EASILY get fooled because of a “detailed” titlescreen image on the game page, if you are a fnaf fan, which there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I suggest you take a look at the ratings or comments and think about if your going to play it, if its just showing a titlescreen like mine, then I wouldnt even bother. It’s really bothersome for me to make games that differ from fnaf fan games, and when I make a full fledged one, or like this, then I pretty much have a high chance of getting REVENUE from plays, of course I would never make games just for the money, but seeing as this game actually made a few cents, you can think of other people that have nearly 2 million plays on their games that have made some real money, imagine if there was literally a troll game like this, that had fake screenshots, and it got 100k plays, thats just free cash for him/her.
Someone made a youtube video, in the comments, and in the video right at the end, he said “this person seems kinda down on motivation”, I dont think anybody would ever be down on motivation when making a “troll” game, or just to test people, I will never make a FNaF fan game because thats what most of the gamejolt community play anyway, however, I do not have a problem with all fnaf fan games, I am currently helping my friend @PixelFormedStudios do the phone calls for his upcoming “Five Nights at Ducktales”, go check out his profile, and the game page if you are looking forward to it. All I am saying is that I have absolutely no interest in making a fnaf fan game, I want to make legit, creative ideas, because making games is literally all about creativity, and inspiration from Scott Cawthon for example is amazing, it made people want to create, and thats what I love to see, but I dont love seeing the community play games that test people like this one and make all the money from it, this game is not intended to make any revenue, it was intended to test the community, and i am still in shock that this game is my most played to date, and to be honest, I dont want it to be that way, that just shows that the world is telling me “You make this game because you have no other ideas because your pathetic”, and that is absolutely right.
Like I said, I encourage you to rate terrible on this, to show peeps not to play this ridiculous game, maybe it can force them out.
If you want to see the “good” games I made, check my games and check out “The Shooting Game 2” and “The Shooting Game 3”, they have a story, and thank goodness, they are not intended to be a test, its actually legit, proven by me, that I can make better games than this.
If you want, post in the comments what you all think, thank you for reading.
