The OST for the Desolate Hope fangame i'm working on will be composed by reinterpretations of the original tracks.
Today i finished the extended theme for the space station (Mystery Forest). A cut of it will be used in the page launch trailer.

I will insert this disclamer in every post i'll make before the page launches: this is not a TDH remake and it doesn't have the same gameplay as the original, i won't reveal any other details untill the demo comes out.

Also i've never practiced much with FL Studio in a professional way before and i'm basically learning the more complex parts of it as i go. It sounds decent to me, but i'll try to not retrace my steps to change it later down the line, i won't make the same mistake again.

Apart from three illustrators this is basically a solo project. I'm starting college after the summer and i'm trying to get as much work done as i can before October.

For the page itself along with the trailer, unless some obstacle manifets itself (i will post an update on my profile if something like that happens), will be ready early/middle August.

The Desolate Hope: Codename Galaxy's July 2025 devlog

Spended the whole day reworking some stuff. I was initially going for a 1080p resolution. Dumb decision, this is basically my first clickteam game and i shouldn't go that high. Changing it to 900p and also remaking some graphics for the occasion.
