I slammed it out in less than a day, so the story is short.

But still, it is a pretty good story. It recaps all what has happened to Mari that leads her to her untimely death. Actually, the story is a bit of referencing Undertale and Agatha Christie's works: With the former, it revolving around a human dying due to consuming poisoned plants (despite mushrooms are not actually plants); with the latter referencing to the reputed tendency for Christie's stories to have plots that revolving around death by poisoning (also a reference to the tendency of the first games in the Windows era of Touhou to have references to Christie's works).
