Context for the story:
This doll was made as a surprise for Jake by his nanny. Jake has cancer, so he can't go outside and live a normal life, but every evening, Jake's dad (who is currently fighting in a war) calls him on a phone, speaking through a baby monitor placed next to the doll (I simplified that with a walkie talkie in his right hand), pretending to be Simon the doll. He's hidden in the closet, so that Jake can't see him, but once he beats his cancer, he'll be able to walk towards the closet and open it's doors to find Simon, covered in all the memories he and the "real Jake" had while Jake was laying in bed. The "real Jake" is a imaginary version of Jake, who lives a normal life and goes on adventures with Simon every day.
The details:
(All directions I write are from the viewers perspective, not Simon's perspective)
-Slid across the wet lawn together with the Henderson kids (grass stains on the knees)
-Played softball in the park and fell on the dry floor (scrape on the left knee)
-Ate chocolate ice cream and dropped some on the shirt (ice cream stain on the bottom right of the shirt)
-Watched a science-fiction movie in the movie theatre with dad and ate buttered popcorn (butter stain near the nose and on the top left of the shirt and popcorn between the front teeth)
-Build a fort made out of branches and sticks with friends (splinters in the fingers of the right hand)
-Ate pizza with friends after sliding across the lawn again (pizza sauce stain on the corners of the mouth)
-Drew with finger paint over at the twins' house (dried color underneath the left fingernails)
[After attempting to sneak out of the house to go to the arcade with Brandon]
-Played racing games at the arcade with Brandon (reward tickets in right pocket, smiley eraser bought with the tickets in right hand)
-Drank a grape slush ice (purple colored tongue)
-Played a dance game and stepped on shoelace (right shoelace ripped off)
-Played shooting games and pinball (no details added)
[Margie the nanny describes the doll: 1 meter tall, fully white (originally), simple eyes drawn by hand and filled with evidence for Simon's and real Jake's adventures]
[Margie put in so much love into the doll, it might just come alive (foreshadowing)]
[The black eye was added the day the real Jake fought back a school bully]
[The missing tooth was added the day the real Jake tried a difficult skateboard trick]
[Pockets are filled with drawn tickets for movie theatres, zoos and amusement parks]
[Tomato sauce stain on chin]
[Mud stains on the knees]
Rest of the story:
["The call" happens (meaning Jake's dad died in war]
[The real Jake wants to go to the beach and learn surfing]
[Margie tells Jake that Simon can't visit him tonight]
[Voices start coming from Jake's room but they stop the moment Margie gets there]
[The next day Jake is doing worse]
[Margie calls the ambulance to get Jake moved into hospital]
[Margie thinks about telling Jake what happened to his dad and who Simon really was]
[Ambulance arrives, everyone enters Jake's room... Jake has passed away]
[The closet doors are open...]
The reason I wanted to share the entire story is because in my opinion it's the saddest Fazbear Frights story of them all. I just felt like it deserves some special attention.
And if you didn't know yet, this story is part of the origin story of the Stitchwraith, the animatronic protagonist of the Fazbear Frights books. Jake is one of the three spirits haunting the Stitchwraith, who was made out of haunted/agony infested animatronic parts, including Simon's head, which is obviosly haunted by Jake, but also Fetch's battery (from FF No. 2 "Fetch") which is possibly the part haunted by the other two spirits: a burned corpse-like man, who was found after "some building" burned down and a child, who attached their soul to this man, so that they can torment the man for all eternity...
Alright, that's me done for now. I'll go stare at Edmund McMillen with a disappointed look now
