The REAL Rice Cooker Revolt

In case anyone is interested, here is the real Japanese automatic rice cooker that was the inspiration for Robot Rice Cooker Revolt:

It made perfect rice every time with it’s “Advanced Neuro-Fuzzy Logic” artificial intelligence. The Japanese put a neural network on a rice cooker! They really love their rice!

Alas, it revolted (started making a burning smell) against me after several years of overuse and too little cleaning.

I replaced it with this one, a newer but smaller, more Cylon-like model:

Go play/rate Robot Rice Cooker Revolt now! (The new Post-Game-Jam version is up) Warn your friends, enemies, and envious appliances about it. We may yet prevent a robot uprising.

Here's how to type words with fingers. Now I can start making the real levels. There will be buzzsaws and lava floors.

Robot Rice Cooker Revolt - Post-game-jam Fixes

Just started on this jam today. Made a happy little anthropomorphic finger character, ready to do some typing.

More rice for you!

We are under attack!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!
