STORY

Mr. Jane Doe was one of the two humans who became immortal ducks, the other human being, Merasmus (who now goes by Mallardmus, to fit his new appearance).

Prior to the duck takeover, Jane Doe was just living a casual life with one of Mikhail's sisters, Zhanna. They both had a house, could maintain their bills, and pay taxes...damn taxes...

One day, Jane was trying out new hats to wear, including a few unusuals. But then...feathers... Merasmus had just casted his duck spell, due to his stupid idea, and turned all the ducks on earth into sentient, bipedal, cartoon-like people! But it wasn't just ducks who were transforming, Merasmus and Jane had became ducks, too! Immortal ducks to be exact!

When Jane Doe realized he'd became a duck, he checked to see if Zhanna was a duck, too. But she wasn't...she wasn't even there... Jane then phone-called Merasmus to ask him if he was the one behind this, and Merasmus replyed with this:

"Soldier...I am the one behind this...but, it's for a g—"

Jane Doe hung up the call, and he was furious. And so, on that day, Mr. Jane Doe had declared Merasmus as his mortal enemy, and swore to avenge Zhanna via killing Merasmus, once and for all.

A decade later, and Jane Doe decided that...y'know what? I could use a break from hunting down this damn wizard. And so, he took a break. And what better way to take a break, than to go to the local brewery — Rivertown Henn Brewery.

During his time at Rivertown Henn, he met Demoduck for the first time, and they became best friends. They both loved beer to some degree — Demoduck's degree being far more than Jane's — and both enjoyed playing poker.

One day, Jane Doe and Demo saw that the West War was going on, all the way in West Texas. Jane and Demo decided that they would join RED and BLU respectively — Jane would be the RED Soldier, and Demo would be the BLU Demoduck. And even though they were on opposing teams, they promised each other that they would be best friends until the day they die. Which, for Jane, would never happen...because he's immortal.

"Good news: we are not gonna die, we're going to live forever!" I guess that line only applied to Jane Doe, the one who spoke it.
