Hey everyone! So, it's been a damn long time since the last actual update. Being honest, 2024 was the worst year for Melodies ever, but it was a great year for me as a person, which let me discover more about who I am and allowed me to improve as an artist and game developer.
On the other hand, 2025 is, so far, the best year for Melodies. In the past 3 months there has been more progress made than in the past 2 years. I've discovered new ways of being more productive, I've developed my skill as a game dev and, most importantly, Melodies is back to being a hobby, not a full-time job which I don't get paid for.
This also means there's a lot of content to show so there will be regular updates for a long time, slowly revealing more and more content.
Now that that's clarified, let's go over the updates for today.
The stage
As you can see, the stage for FredBear's Family Diner is complete and looking awesome. It's inspired by sitcom sets and theatre stages as it is not only a stage for singing, but also for the animatronics to enact fun scenes to entertain the customers of the restaurant. Above the piano you can also catch a familiar face, may he rest in peace.
The new UI
The camera UI shown before was never final, I knew I wanted to do something fancier, so there it is. You can compare the two of them here:

The new look is, in my opinion, a whole lot better. It is busier, but that also makes it realistic and a bit harder to spot threats in the cameras.
Jeremy
Jeremy has been slightly improved to better reflect his age and physical status. He has also been equipped with a new rig which allows for more realistic facial expressions and movement, making animation a lot easier.
The main menu, which features Jeremy in an extreme close-up, has been updated to reflect this new improvements. here's a look (take in mind the actual menu is animated)

And here's the old one in case you want to make comparisons:

The improvement is enormous despite the changes being very minor.
Closed Beta
The closed beta is starting really soon. Some changes are being made first, The Baker's whole mechanic is getting changed and there are still some balancing issues which require a lot more testing on my side before releasing the closed beta. It will consist of a Custom Night in which you can go against FredBear, Bonnie and The Baker. However, this closed beta won't be available to the public, as it's name indicates. A few individuals who I trust will get access to it. They will be able to release footage, screenshots and reviews if they wish to as long as they ask me first, so the general public will still get access to some content.
The AI
The AI for Melodies has been programmed to be able to make decisions on the fly. I've found a way to add pathing to it, so the animatronics are able to navigate the building intelligently by creating their own paths, they can even get distracted. The animatronics can work together to attack you at the same time, leaving you vulnerable to an attack while you fend off one of them. It's your job to distract them using the speakers so that they may not be able to get into the office at the same time.

Casting Call
After the closed beta is released privately and the script is digitalized, a casting call will be opened, allowing YOU to audition for a voice role in the game. Jeremy and most other characters still don't have a voice, which means you have a high chance of being picked as a Voice Actor for the game.
The roles which have already been covered are Puppet, who is voiced a woman very close to me, and FredBear, Bonnie and The Baker, which are all voice by the incredibly talented @ADRGaming who somehow manages to make them all sound distinct, fun and scary.
What next?
As you can see, there are 18 cameras in the map. 8 of them still haven't been shown off. Some are new, others have been remade or vastly improved. So, one camera will be revealed each week from now on.
Here's a very small sneak peak (discord members have already seen it so don't spoil anything please!!)
