Things about Freddy & Friends: 1985.


Hey everyone. Hopefully you guys are having a great Thursday/Friday. I just wanted to swing by and let you guys know that Freddy & Friends: 1985 will be delayed for an unknown amount of time (trust me, you WILL want to keep reading).

I want to focus more on other aspects of my life, as I'm going through some personal business with family and school. It's hard to develop and create a story on Scratch all by yourself with days on end without breaks. I appreciate all of my developers, but it's best if you also let go as well.


Will this be the end of Freddy & Friends?

Of course not. This project has had so much sweat, dedication, and tears put into it that I cannot just abandon so much work very easily. It will only mean that I will do things on my own accord to make sure the game comes out as smooth and efficient as possible, although it's hard to make any promises with my type of skills..

I think it's best to let you guys see the work that I've done so far. Here's the current models of the animatronics:

The Marionette! Gives out gifts to the children and occasionally sings soft lullabies.


Here's an additional devlog as well so you guys know what you're in store for:

FREDDY & FRIENDS: 1985 WILL HAVE -

  • Between Night Cutscenes

  • Character Insights

  • Repairs/Tasks

  • Custom Night

  • Normal Minigames

  • Secret Minigames, achievable through easy methods

  • Unique Gameplay (this is a BIG one.)


I'm also in the process of completing a few secret minigames and implementing the animatronic AIs. The way it works is easy: You have a (emergency) vent that you must flash into to stop the animatronics from entering.

Only one animatronic is able to go through the vent, while the others go through the two specially installed doors to the right and left of you.

These animatronics are unable to go away unless a reboot is commanded. There is currently no plans to add power to the game, but there are.. things.. that'll stop you from cheesing the game so easily. No spoilers! :)

You are also given a Faz-Talkie so you can communicate with "others"! I won't spoil what it exactly does, but I will say that I'm excited for what this supposed Talkie can do :)

And of course, to clarify, this is less of a FNaF 1 remake and more of a project that'll add more to the story before the events of 2/1 and after 4. Anything the FNaF lore currently has now WILL be included in the game, such as FNaF 4's lore, FNaF 3's lore, Sister Location's lore, FNaF 6's lore, ect ect. There will be a few slight changes to fit the narrative of the game, but everything else will flow as smoothly on the timeline if I'm properly able to do so.


I will share unique screenshots/teasers for the game whenever I get the time to do so. It will not be like the ones I've been doing for the past few months, so be ready!

Now that that's done, I'll simply say that you will need a good running device to play the game. Lots of assets, lots of clones, and lots of goodness! I will notify you all when I decide the time to be right for me to slap an OFFICIAL release date on this game. Thank you all.
