Haunted Haiden - Conflicts
Top, Limbo:
Harlan/Lake finds himself confronted by Haiden in a limbo like dimension after their fight. Harlan isn’t surprised that Haiden is “alive” but is more shocked that Haiden is actually possessed by a spirit, one that’s been around a lot longer than the demon he made a deal with to possess Lake. Despite his denial, the truth is staring him in the face with all the repressed hostility and rage that has built up over the thirty years he’s existed.
Haiden has long since decided to stop hiding and now with his full, unrestrained potential unleashed it won’t be long until the other animatronics experience what he can do untethered from his restrictions.
Middle, Insane:
Lucas confronts Harlan during Ashley’s final night in order to try talk him down. That goes out the water pretty quickly when Harlan admits to his plan of killing Ashley so she can possess an animatronic, so they can spend eternity together.
Enraged, Lucas tears into Harlan, honestly questioning if he’s even thought this through. People change and grow, the future is uncertain but thanks to his first life as Polaris he knows that establishments like the Funland will soon grow less popular and eventually shut down. Leaving its animatronics to rot and decay, he does not want that to happen to Ashley.
Unlike Harlan, Lucas does not see possessing an animatronic as a gift, he sees it as a curse that has made his life so much more difficult.
Bottom, Partnership:
Lorraine learns that Haiden is possessed when she witnesses his and Harlan’s fight on Friday. Desperate, she contacts him and they meet each other that evening. Lorraine proposes a partnership to help Ashley learn the truth and burn the establishment to the ground.
Haiden agrees but shows a little of his ruthless side by giving Lorraine a warning in regards to Ashley. He will not let the person he’s come to see as a younger sister get hurt at the hands of the other spirits.

A bit more of an exploration into more mature subject matters, I will reiterate that Haiden/Lucas doesn't hate Harlan but instead recognises that he's lashing out in pain and loss. Not helped at all by the Demon behind the scenes making things worse. That being said, Haiden cannot allow Harlan to harm Ashley, or anyone else for that matter... so hard choices must be made. He must act now.
Why are hands so hard to draw, especially when you’re trying to draw two characters shaking hands? Also I think Chick/Lorraine kind of came out wrong in that last prompt… guess I’m out of practice drawing any other animatronic that isn’t Haiden or Lake…
I think I missed out a chunk of Lucas’ speech to Harlan… it’s meant to read: “Are you insane?! There is no guarantee that Ashley will possess an animatronic! Even if she did, the sheer wrongness of what you have done to her will drive her insane!”
Next bunch of prompts will be more heart warming and fluffy, promise.
