Hey there, ImKai here, a lot of you might remeber me from before, maybe 2 to 3 years ago. I just wanted to share some opinions on what has been going around on GJ recently.

I saw a Gamejolt Creator called @PhantronGames who recently quit gamejolt due to a feature where you can spend money to boost your account, giving you more attention. Many creators had an issue with this feature from what I have seen, and created posts about it. Gamejolt supposedly tried to respond to this issue by shadow-banning these creators. Some of them even has switched to Itch.IO because they believe that GJ is not respecting them. Honestly, all I have to say is shame on you @gamejolt . You guys are pretty much exploiting your platform to spend money to gain followers, which is a really easy way for you to make money right? I have been there since the first ever Gifters Gauntlet which was an event where people would gift stickers, profile frames, and post backgrounds to see who would gift the most. And you know what? most of those items are bought using a currency called Joltbux, which you have to buy with real money. They made an excuse about these cashgrabs recently by stating that they are a "small team." But if they cant handle criticism like this, then they shouldn't be trying to handle a social media platform. It was their decision too, they thought it was a good idea, but in reality not every idea is the brightest. Even if your silly self-entitled moderation team decides to delete this post, or shadow-ban me, my point still stands.
