Hey Townies!

We have unlocked the Vampire Hunter role! All of our backers ($5+) will be getting a whole bunch of awesome stuff! Not only do they get their perk reward, they get the Apocalypse theme pack, 25 of each role Scroll, the Emotes (/dance, taunt, wave), the Werewolf skin, the Vampire skin and finally the Vampire hunter skin. The Forger will be in there too I am 100% sure.

There has never been a better time to support Town of Salem or a better deal. If you plan on spending any money in the next YEAR on Town of Salem, now is the time!

Up next: Forger

The Forger! A new mafia role! This is a very cool role and was suggested on our forums multiple times (yep, this is a community creation!) and we knew we had to try and get this into the game. The Forger will be a deceptive role and can use his ability to change peoples wills to point fingers at the wrong people, make sure a disguiser goes unnoticed and make it so that when you see a last will, you have to question if you can trust it.

Fake Accounts

I wanted to bring this to peoples attention in case you aren’t familiar with Kickstarter. We have received a few large pledges from people with account names of things like ‘psdfasre’ which means they are probably a fake account. This inflates our total a little bit as the pledges will either be pulled at the last minute or the amount they pledged will be unavailable from the bank account they have linked to Amazon.

This means even though we have hit $70k, we are still a little under it in actual money Josh and I will be getting at the end of the Kickstarter. What does this mean? Not a lot actually. Since we are also accepting donations to the Paypal, I believe that will cancel out pledges like the one above. This is also why I am not listing the amount we have pulled in via Paypal donations.

Once the Kickstarter ends and we see exactly how many pledges bounce/don’t go through, I will put that number in an update along with the Paypal total so we know exactly how much we have raised.
