Hi guys!

Today is DF’s 2nd anniversary! Can you believe it’s been two years already?! To celebrate, I’ve put together a video with some exciting announcements and goodies, which you can watch here if you haven’t already: https://youtu.be/PicI0Re_P8Q

One of the exciting announcements is a new patch for the demo! I know I said that I wasn’t going to put out another DF update, and technically I still haven’t, since this is a “patch”, not an update ;) It’s just for this one occasion though, so don’t expect anything more for the demo in the future!

Anyway, here’s the changelog for U14P3:

• Added a new area: Hotland! Here you’ll find Mettaton, who has a new minigame you can try out: “METTATON’S SHOOTING SIMULATOR”! Compete for the highest score on the scoreboard!

• Added new options when you left-click on another player, which allow you to quickly invite them to PvP or add them as a friend.

• Added a new feature in PvP where you can see when your opponent is using the ACT option during their turn. You’ll now be able to see a speech bubble above them that says “[Typing…]”.

• The flee timer in PvP now depletes faster to encourage faster battles.

• You can now switch between the two different main menu designs by pressing [C]. (This only works if you have beaten the finale.)

• Replaced the stars on the main menu with SOUL sprites as they’re more suitable.

• If an error occurs while trying to send a friend request to someone, you will now automatically be sent to the GMServer website to do it from there instead.

• Replaced some of the images in the credits sequence.

• Modified GickyR’s dialogue. (You’ll only see this if you haven’t spoken to him before.)

• Modified Lord RickyG’s dialogue. (Some of this can only be seen if you haven’t spoken to him yet.)

• Modified the text on the Stone Tablets in the Lost Woods.

• Removed the “PLEASE NOTE” screen.

• Other minor tweaks.

The other exciting announcement in the video is that the Old Beta has been re-released once again! If you never got the chance to play it when it was out, now you can! Or if you just want to go on a trip down memory lane, you can do that too!
