It might seem hard to believe at first, but it's true!
Today marks the 4 year anniversary release of Bonnet's Location!

(man already, where did the years go?)

Bonnet's Location is a non-profit FNAF fangame created by @DuckterStRm and @FoxyGamer1980 .

Originally released on gamejolt.com since November 30th, 2019. It was only being made by one developer (which is me btw) at age of 18, who was still pretty much a newbie at using clickteam fusion for developing a game.

But just after the release of Bonnet's Location - [Classic Edition], I had very difficult time of trying to plan out / develop the second update for Bonnet's Location and the sequel too.

That was until @FoxyGamer1980 was interested into helping me with the two projects which were almost at the verge of being scrapped, so I would like to thank him a lot for that! ^^

2 years later, Bonnet's Location - [Update 2] was released on November 30th, 2021 and right now Bonnet's Location 2: The Grand Reopening is scheduled for a late winter 2023 release.

(moral of the story: if you're working on a really complex FNAF fangame, don't do it alone. after all, teamwork makes the dreamwork!)

And with that out of the way, here are the things on what to expect for the future of Bonnet's Location! (+ Announcement of New Game):

Oof.. Alright. I'll get this out of the way by saying it out loud, but don't worry there is also good news regarding this decision!

So remember that Late December 2023 that was originally planned for Bonnet's Location 2: The Grand Reopening after teaser 3?

Yeah, it's being no longer releasing for December and will instead be aiming for a 2024 release.

Here's why:

The original version of Bonnet's Location 2 will unfortunately be scrapped, due to @FoxyGamer1980 not being happy with the overall current state of the original 2023 version.

However!

The good news is that, new 2024 version will be in the works and it'll include: revamped and improved gameplay, improved story, new 1080p visuals, and hopefully a smaller file size!

But not to threat however, as later on, an unfinished build for the old version will come out as somewhat of an apology, it’ll include both week 1 and 2, fully complete. (except for week 3, of course)

Despite this..

Me and @FoxyGamer1980 would also like to say thank you for waiting patiently and downloading the demo, we really appreciate it!

Yup that's right, Bonnet's Location will be getting remade / revised for the next years to come!

Well, it's just only the first game that's being remade.

I had this idea brainstorming in my head for a good while now and surprisingly, @Fredinator seems to be also interested into doing it too!

Of course, there's nothing to be shown about this remake since it isn't in development yet.

We're planning to get production started for the remake very soon, after the release of Poppy the Cat: Let The Show Begin!.

But what I will say is this, Bonnet's Location: Revision will be featuring new things that will improve things from the previous versions of Bonnet's Location!

This includes, the models getting a new look, updated gameplay & visuals, soundtracks, and etc.

Although the story will be remaining the same, it too will also revised! (the edginess will be toned down, but the horror vibes will stay the same)

We'll tell you more about this remake when the time is right, but for now..

MEOW! ~ After for a long wait and delay, we've finally got information to share on Poppy the Cat: Let The Show Begin!!

Ehm! ~ *clears throat*

In Poppy the Cat: Let the Show Begin!, you play as a 8 year old girl known as Maisie.

Maisie unfortunately ends up getting locked inside a film studio which is well known for filming the infamous show called "Poppy & Friends - The Spectacular Wonderland!" after losing sight of her parents while having a tour around the film set.

Now trapped inside, Maisie must find a way to escape the studio by solving riddles / puzzles into finding the key for exit.

But she'll need to also avoid the main mascot herself.. Poppy The Cat!

Well, more like a drunken male mascot actor playing as Poppy the Cat..

This might seem like an easy thing to do at first, but don't be fooled! All of the lights in the film set, including the studio have all been turned off or they're just very dim.

Without a light source, Maisie will experience hallucinations which will not only make her breath so heavily, but all of the noises made will also make it easier for Poppy the Cat to come find her.

So remember to always have a lantern with you while exploring dark areas!

The gameplay of Poppy the Cat: Let The Show Begin! will differ from your typical Sit & Survive mechanics of the previous BL titles and will focus more on the Point & Click mechanics.

The gameplay will be somewhat inspired by POST-6, FNAF: Killer Night, At Dead of Night and very early 2000s point & click horror / adventure games!

While being the final game in Bonnet's Location trilogy timeline / collection, it will also be a prequel set in the year 1963 during the season of summer and it takes place in Washington, D.C. this time, instead of Hurricane, Utah!

This game will not be in development yet, after taking a break from releasing Bonnet's Location 2: The Grand Reopening. However, the modelling phase is currently going underway, so expect a new teaser soon in the future!

Alright so, I'll admit it. I didn't know what to put here at first..

But luckily, @FoxyGamer1980 was kind enough to give me some information about this upcoming custom night project to share with you all!

So, here you go!

While the gameplay & premise of the story isn't known about it, do keep in mind that this will be a custom night game!

In fact, this is a revival of the original *scrapped* bonnet’s location custom night game!

There could be a high chance that this game will be inspired by Ultimate Custom Night or Animator's Hell, but we don't know yet. (so things are subject to change!)

But just like Bonnet's Location: Revision, this project will also be kept a secret, until there's a right time for it to be shown off.
