In the far distant past...
During the growth of the universe, comes forth the concept of creation.
A being to represent such is born, ordered to monitor the cycle of life across the realm. The Embodiment of Creation's light, brighter than what could have been the supernova.
In spite of near lack of living beings besides the divines, the being is well praised, being able to do a burdened job in millions of years ahead.
And yet, with good comes evil. And thus, with creation, comes destruction.
Born from the void of the unknown, he brought forward devastation and despair towards the universe. One by one, the light of creation grows dim with the presence of the darkness of Destruction.
After a few billion years, the light could not bear to watch the catastrophe the thing has brought to the realm of the creators' precious creation. The Being of Creation itself decided it's best to confront Destruction itself.
The battle ends up being a tie, while the Embodiment of Destruction is banished and sealed into the void where it once came from, the Embodiment of Creation impossibly shatters, leaving the lights remain scattering across the universe.
And thus, the cycle of life goes on; and the balance of blooming and withering brings prosperity to everyone; even with the absence of both embodiments.
And yet;
The successors of the light is still yet to be found...
Not before the Embodiment of Destruction finds his own way to escape his banishment via the digital world.
