Update 0.4.9 - Wave Survival working on multiplayer


Wave Survival game mode is now working on multiplayer: you can survive with your friends, earn money and buy better equipment between each wave.

Characters now play different sounds when they die: you won’t listen the same sound everytime a character dies. Some new sounds have been introduced in order to achieve this randomness. Among them, Wilhelm scream has been included for male characters (zombies not included): https://youtu.be/cdbYsoEasio

  • Wave survival game mode is now working on multiplayer

  • Added respawn at the end of a wave in wave survival game mode on multiplayer

  • Added Wilhelm scream to male characters

  • Enemies, allies and playable characters now play different sound effects on death (randomly)

  • Player can no longer jump while crouching

  • Improved male soldier models

  • Improved player’s gravity and movement

Optimizations

  • Minor IA CPU usage improvement

  • Optimized GPU usage in Akihabara defense map

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed IA not moving at the start of the match in Outpost Defense

  • Fixed IA at Jurassic defense not retargeting opponents in real time

  • Fixed several playable characters being able to fly while carrying the katana

  • Fixed melee enemies targeting turrets not in range

  • Fixed stair’s movement on Desert Base defense map
