Update 13 Patch 5 released!


Hi guys!

This is probably going to be the last patch for a couple of days. It fixes most of the bugs that have been reported from Patch 4, so here’s the patchlog:

  • Golden Frisk now has new sprites thanks to SuxMenner! They look a lot more gold than before :3

  • Added a new and improved damage system so that attacks are now much more balanced in PvP as well as in regular enemy encounters.

  • Made fleeing instructions more clear on the SPELL screen in PvP.

  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to enter a PvP fight accidentally while being AFK.

  • Fixed a bug where the game wouldn’t let you join Special Mode if your badge was in Slots 5-8.

  • Added “Play the Ending” as an option on the Main Menu, but don’t be fooled, it doesn’t do anything yet! It’s just there for when the Ending actually becomes playable again!

  • Modified Lord RickyG’s dialogue in the church a bit to reflect the new option on the menu.

  • Hopefully fixed a bug where playing Thundersnail or talking to Lord RickyG would make a bunch of players disappear from the overworld afterwards.

  • Fixed a bug where Frisk wouldn’t change sprites when moving in Offline Mode.

  • The game is now using the latest version of Game Maker Server, 1.9.8, which adds:

    • Speedhack detection.

    • Improved movement smoothing, which means other players now move over the screen more fluently.

  • Changed a small wording mistake in PvP.

  • When you change your skin with the Skin Menu it now teleports you back to the last place you came out of just like the commands would.

  • Made certain spells more expensive in PvP so people will stop relying on them so much to win.
