Hi guys!

I just released Update 4 (and two patches for it literally just 10 minutes after), and there’s quite a few new neat things as well as long overdue bug fixes and changes. So without further ado, here they are:

• Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the bug where when you select an item in battle, during the enemy attack you can still here the ‘blip’ sound from selecting items.

  • Fixed the bug (hopefully) where if you crash/close the game and try to load it back up it thinks you’re a cheater.

  • Fixed the bug where if you left the textbox on the chat menu open and then closed the chat menu, when you opened it up again any letters you pressed would be in the textbox.

• Minor Tweaks

  • Changed the text in the Talk function of the first shop.

  • EXP received from enemies in the Grind Room has been lowered to match the real game better and to make it a little tougher to raise your LV. I noticed how effortless it was to get to LV 7 in like 5 minutes so I decided to make it harder.

• Major Changes

  • Two new skins have been added to the game! You can now change yourself to look like Sans or Chara! I probably won’t add any more in the future due to how much of a hassle it was just to add these two!

  • New bank system! If you want to reset but don’t want to lose all of your hard-earned gold, then this new system will really help you out! You can deposit money into the bank, and then withdraw it even after a normal reset!

  • Due to this new bank system, resetting now works differently! You can now do a ‘normal reset’ by pressing R on the main menu which erases everything except your GOLD and some server variables, or you can do a ‘TRUE RESET’ by pressing T which erases everything so you can start all over again.

  • Added new commands! You can type these in the chat and it will carry out an action! Here are the current commands:

    • /respawn allows you to go back to the first room of the game

    • /pun puts a random pun in the chat.

    • /deposit puts all of your current gold in the bank for storage.

    • /withdraw gives you back all of your gold from the bank.

    • /skin_frisk gives you the Frisk skin (default).

    • /skin_chara gives you the Chara skin.

    • /skin_sans gives you the Sans skin.

  • Added two new rooms. After the first room is a new room which is just a hallway with the intro sign, and then the other new room is just a bland room with the SAVE point. This second new room is attached to the Grind Room to the right. This was done to fix a bug which would crash the game.

  • EXP and G now work properly! Before they were a bit bugged and stopped working after a while, but hopefully that is now fixed! I also slightly changed how EXP works to make it more accurate to Undertale.
