Update to Queens of the Shadowy Realms

While it’s far from a playable game, I’ve managed to get a few more of the engine components working. There is now a working inventory at the top of the screen, and you can pick up items in the game (of which there are only one right now) and use them to trigger a comic-book cut scene.

It’s still very much a tech demo right now, just showing the basic interface and art style. There are no puzzles to solve yet, characters to interact with or sounds of any sort.

More to follow soon!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
