Finally, the update is here! Let's dive in and I'll explain what's been added to the game from this point on.
Therefore, I'm going to start by talking about the Elteria Hunter; I'm currently working on creating a large game that will be receiving updates on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. This will bring large and small changes to the game, in addition to adding some fantastic new features.
You can see the initial region map. This map will have a variety of islands to explore and it will be quite large so it will take some time to complete all of the content for each map. Therefore, there will be quite a bit to do in-game.
At the game's full release, two islands will have already been unlocked. In later updates, I'll add more opportunities to the game and unlock the other parts of the maps as post-game content.
All the monsters in the game will be animated to give more life to the world and battles. This will also introduce different types of monsters, such as normal and alpha monsters, and in the future, even more types with more powerful abilities.
To begin with, the most recognizable system I've chosen to use is RPG Maker since I'm a fan of the classic style and I want to combine it with modern mechanics found in most games today.
I will have more of an opportunity to invest in creating enhanced mechanics to enhance the gaming experience since I can find a majority of world-building elements in RPG Maker and create them myself.
To start, I'm implementing crafting and armor systems, as well as different types of monsters. This will add a lot to the game and story, as it will have a narrative that you'll discover through the quest journal.
