Update v1.1 is now available! Introducing Extra Nights!

Hey everyone! Update v1.1 is releasing right now and it comes with a brand new mode in the extras menu! Extra Nights will be the hub for special nights that are quite different from the base presets, introducing new mechanics and familiar yet unique challenges. They can be unlocked by completing certain requirements, such as completing a certain number of challenges or unlocking all the characters from the shop!

The nights that you can expect are:

Ennard Night

  • Essentially a remake of Sister Location's base night with Ennard. He now works almost exactly as he does in that game with a few tweaks to make him a tad bit more fair.

  • There is also difficulty settings for the night as well, with Normal being how he is in vanilla along with Easy and Hard variants to make things interesting!

  • The night is also compatible with most of the cheats and challenges as well!

Dee Dee's Trial

  • This night is essentially a whole new game mode, marking the return of Dee Dee! She will spawn at the start of the night and will begin spawning everyone from the roster over time!

  • Unlike every other night, this night is endless, which means the goal of this night is to get as far as possible into the night!

  • Due to the night being endless, the way power works has been reworked. You start at 50% and as long as you are not using your doors or camera your power slowly recharges!

  • Currently, the mode does not support any of the challenges or cheats however in the future I may add support for Hyper Mode.

For right now there are only two nights in this menu, however in the future I may plan to add some more nights into the game. I have ideas for some but I want to save them since they are a bit more complex.

Along with the brand new mode comes some changes as well! These include:

  • Ennard's speed has been buffed (8s -> 6s intervals).

  • Electrobab now drains power a bit slower (2s -> 2.5s).

  • Added a shuffle option in the theme menu, which shuffles the themes you have unlocked whenever the menu starts.

  • Finally, for realsies this time, fixed the coin count in the game over screen.

  • Fixed a bug with the warning screen where the background didn't work if the menu theme was changed.

  • Fixed a bug where completing SGF with any challenge enabled unlocks the HGF reward.

  • Characters that use precise values for positioning (Bonnet for example) now move in subpixels, which means their movements are now more consistent across framerates.

  • Adjusted the layout for the total playtime stats for max modes so they support hours higher than 59.

  • Power has been adjusted for longer nights, so usage of power drains a tiny bit less power.

For now consider this the last major update to the game for now! It's time to begin work on my next project, and luckily for everyone I've decided to announce said project very very soon (likely within the next week or so).
